2. PURPOSE OF THE PICS STUDIO SITE

The purpose of the Site is to present the activity of PICS STUDIO, whose mission is to create and develop film studios together with all the associated infrastructures (temporary accommodation centres, training rooms, offices, etc.) to accommodate, in particular, cinematographic, and audio-visual production teams operating in South of France.

The Site also allows Internet users to offer personal support to the project carried out by PICS STUDIO.

3. CONTENT AND ACCESS TO THE SITE

The Site is exclusively accessible online. The user acknowledges having the skills and means required for its use.

In order to access and use the Site and ensure the proper functioning of the various services provided, Users must be in possession of all necessary equipment, software, and settings, as well as an Internet network connection. Any equipment used (computer, software, telecommunication means such as mobile phones, etc.) to allow access to the Site are the sole responsibility of the user, as are any costs related to internet connections.

PICS STUDIO strives to provide and disseminate up-to-date information on the Site. However, PICS STUDIO cannot guarantee users that the entirety of the information made available on the Site is always accurate, up-to-date, and exhaustive. PICS STUDIO is, as such, only bound by a best effort undertaking.

For any questions, clarifications or requests for additional information, PICS STUDIO invites users to contact them. The Site is normally accessible to users at all times.

PICS STUDIO undertakes, as much as possible, to ensure the Site is accessible seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours a day. However, for the benefit of its users, PICS STUDIO reserves the right to modify, suspend, temporarily or permanently interrupt access to all or part of the Site and to modify its functionalities, without notice and without this giving rise to any compensation. In particular, interruptions due to technical maintenance or updates may be implemented by PICS STUDIO, without prior notification.

4. SITE USE

Access to the Site is free and is carried out under the sole responsibility of the user. 

The user undertakes to use the Site in accordance with its intended purpose, for its own needs, and in accordance with any governing law and regulations in force.

The user is solely responsible for the way they use the Site. The information posted on the Site is provided on the condition that the user in receipt of it determines their interest related to a specific purpose before using it. Consequently, the user acknowledges using this information under their sole responsibility.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Access to the site does not confer any rights to the users other than a right of consultation.

PICS STUDIO is the owner of the intellectual property rights or holds the rights of use on all the elements accessible on the Site, in particular the texts, images, audio or video sequences, graphics, logo, icons, sounds, software.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the Site, whatever the means or the process used, is prohibited, except with the prior written authorisation of PICS STUDIO.

The creation of Internet links to or from the Site, and the creation of so-called “mirror” sites comprising all or part of the elements of the Site, are also strictly prohibited. Disassembly, reverse engineering, or decompiling of all or part of the Site is also prohibited, as is the use of automated systems in connection with the Site and the extraction of databases contained within, in particular via the use of automated systems or software to extract data (scraping) or index it (crowling).

6. RESPONIBILITY

PICS STUDIO cannot be held responsible for material damage related to the use of the Site. Furthermore, PICS STUDIO cannot be held liable for damage resulting from fraudulent use of the Site or the consequences related to the intervention of a third party which may result in the modification of the Site or the information it contains.

In general, PICS STUDIO cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage related to the use of the Internet network and the use of the Site, in particular, for example, data losses, service interruptions, external intrusions or the presence of computer viruses.

The Site may contain a number of hypertext links to other sites. However, PICS STUDIO does not have the possibility of verifying the content of these third-party sites, which remain totally independent. Therefore, the presence on the Site of a link to another site does not constitute validation of the said site or its content, nor, a fortiori, of the use that could be made of it. The decision to activate a link lies solely with the user and it is up to the user to use this information wisely. PICS STUDIO will therefore not assume any liability for any such action.

7. PERSONAL DATA

As part of their navigation on the Site and, in general, their exchanges with PICS STUDIO, users may be required to communicate a certain amount of their personal data.

8. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

In the absence of an amicable agreement, any dispute in connection with the use of the Site will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts (in the application of the rules laid down by the Code of Civil Procedure).
